World famous naturalist, Bernd Heinrich, has signed a limited number of copies of his latest book, White Feathers: The Nesting Lives of Tree Swallows. In this highly entertaining volume, Heinrich captures the surprising, rich life of tree swallows in the nesting season through his written word, as well as, his photographs and illustrations of his observations of the tree swallows in action. Bernd Heinrich is a retired professor of biology at the University of Vermont and does most of his observing and writing on his 500 acre woodlot in Weld, Maine.
